Solid Platform With Excellent Potential!
As it stands, TrustMate provides a good overall platform for gathering feedback. The hint-based review system is both a unique and fantastic feature which truly has the potential to set TrustMate apart from the other solutions out there. The support team is also superb, and they have helped resolve multiple difficulties I've experienced since purchasing TrustMate in March earlier this year. Lastly, the tutorial vides offer a quick and concise way to get you up and running and the ability to display your rating on your Google listing is excellent for SEO.
Improvements & Feature Requests:
1. TrustMate is specifically aimed at online businesses that provide 'products'. For this use, it is a near perfect solution. Since my business is mostly service-oriented (lessons, consultations etc.), I feel TrustMate could be better optimised for service-based businesses. For example, you can only receive TrustMate's certification if you "Get 50 reviews from invitations in the last 90 days". Personally, I don't have that kind of turnover since my business focusses on cultivating long-term relationships with repeat clients. As such, I'm currently not able to receive TrustMate's certification despite having a 5 Star rated service. This isn't a problem necessarily, but it's worth considering.
2. In order to maximise TrustMate, the use of the hint-based system is essential. I would like TM to explore a new method of creating the hints for the potential customers to select. The current implementation involves the importing of spreadsheets. Whilst this is doable, it would be fantastic if everything could be done within TrustMate's platform. I don't know if this is possible, but I think it would simplify and elevate the user experience.
3. I've had reports of some clients not receiving the email confirmation (both in their inbox and spam folder). I've consequently lost a couple of reviews due to this issue. Whilst not a dealbreaker, I would like this to be improved if possible.
4. I would like to see the use of more 'fun' oriented widgets, such as an emoji widget or a happy/sad face approach. TrustMate is very official. This is excellent for building trust and establishing a reputation, but it might not suit every business. It would therefore be nice to have some light hearted widgets as a quick way of gathering feedback.
Overall, I'm happy with TrustMate and I'm interested to see the developments in the coming years. I would like there to be more activity via their newsletter and socials, as I feel this would create a greater sense of community. I would also like to see more exciting features added to the roadmap that focus on the user interface and experience both for the customer and the businesses using the platform. Four tacos from me with the potential to rise!

May 16, 2024Dear Joshua,
thanks for a lot of good comments. We ourselves noticed opportunities for development in the aspects you indicated.
The widgets will be more spectacular. Next week, we will implement a service that allows you to convert stars into icons tailored to your industry, such as books, trees, ice cream or a glass of wine.
As the head of the product department, I promise you that in the coming months we will optimize TrustMate in terms of service companies and awards for them :) There will also be many other awards and certificates.
We also have a large project of building hint dictionaries inside the TrustMate panel. We plan to start it in Q1 2022. It's a big undertaking, but I promise you will love it.
As to the deliverability of e-mails, it is often an individual matter. The statistics across the entire website look exemplary. Of course, we are constantly working on "perfect" deliverability, but it is influenced by so many variables that, unfortunately, e-mail sometimes ends up in spam.
I am very happy that you have been with us for so many months :) We need to roll up our sleeves to work and earn 5 tacos from you!
