Q: Could Larch work just with its browser extension?
Hi,
What I mean is that it looks to me that the mobile app is a must have with your service.
I would like to know if I could allow users to log in just with the Latch browser extension, when they do not use/have mobile phones. (They cannot install an app when there is no phone to install the app)

Edited Jan 17, 2025A: Hello, if the question refers to authorization processes, these must be managed through the Latch mobile app, as it is an integral part of the authorization control platform.
Regarding the browser extension, Latch’s Secure Browsing Copilot is designed to enhance online security by detecting malicious websites, validating authenticity, and blocking threats in real-time.
For specific cases where users cannot access their devices, Latch provides a solution through the Latch Support Tool (LST). This tool enables administrators or website owners to manage and resolve support issues directly, including:
-Remote Lock Management: Administrators can open or close latches for users during emergencies, allowing critical operations to proceed securely without compromising access control.
-Account Status Monitoring: The LST provides visibility into the status of paired accounts (AccountIDs) and their associated latches, enabling efficient support and resolution.
-Access History and Incident Tracking: Administrators can review the historical activity of paired accounts, ensuring transparency and traceability for all actions performed.
Thanks for your detailed answer Patxi.
Sadly, as a mobile app is a must, your service does not fit to my use case.
