The feature that interests me most about TubeOnAI is the ability to follow creators and have their new content summarized automatically.

I follow a lot of content for work, and I can see myself using TubeOnAI to keep up with a subject over time. You can subscribe to YouTube channels, save material worth keeping into topic collections, and ask AI questions across your library when researching an article or newsletter. You can also turn what you have collected into posts, articles, scripts, and other content using your own prompts.

In my test, the English summaries and transcription were genuinely good. The Ask AI feature also worked well, and I liked being able to ask follow-up questions about the material I had just processed. There is a lot you can do with a good transcript once you have it.

I did run into a few issues. A nearly two-hour video took a long time to process, with so little progress feedback that I couldn't tell whether it was still working. There was also a language bug where some transcript views and repurposed content came back in Arabic despite English being selected. On one occasion, the comprehensive summary returned raw JSON instead of a formatted response.

The team has since addressed several other issues from the first test. I confirmed that the LinkedIn and Google Drive connections were working again, and MCP has been added. The language handling and long-video progress feedback were still being worked on at the time of my recheck, so those are the two areas I would want to see improved.

Overall, I like what TubeOnAI is trying to do with content that you follow regularly. The combination of automatic summaries, a searchable library, AI questions, and content repurposing could save a lot of research time for writers, creators, and anyone who follows several sources on the same subject. I would just want the language settings and longer video processing to work more consistently before relying on it every day.
