I normally buy stocks that I know - Costco, Google, Apple, Shopify, etc.. Companies I use and feel fairly confident will stick around for a while. I thought I would give TYKR a try - to broaden my horizons. Initially, after logging on, I thought, is this it? It is not flashy, no get rich quick tips... just a list of stocks that TYKR thinks will appreciate over time.

I was thinking about getting a refund but decided to give them a fair shot. I studied their recommendations for the top 50 "On Sale" stocks. I looked at Sean Tepper's personal portfolio. I picked 5 stocks from his list to invest $5000 ($1k per stock). Except for Microsoft and Quest, the other 3 were unknown to me.

I can't say their performance over the last couple of weeks has been stellar. But they haven't been bad. I feel my modest portfolio is now a little more balanced. Now it is poised to grow my money that was on the sidelines.

I like the daily emails TYKR sends and the tips provided. I like having a source to check out stocks - where someone else has done the leg work to analyze potential. I set up a couple of "watch" lists. I wish I could enter an investment amount and see how they perform over time. Right now it just shows their names and TYKR analysis.

I've made over $100 on the TYKR recommended stocks I purchased. So I am not going to request a refund. I feel I have a personal advisor helping me make the most out of my investing. Hopefully, as we move from a sideways market to a bull market, my earnings will be even better. In my opinion, as a modest buy & hold investor, TYKR is worth $100 for a lifetime of investment education, information, and advice.
