Based on some of the comments, I thought I might be able to replace TextExpander with Typedesk, but this is NOT a viable replacement.

If you're looking for an easy way to create canned emails with a well-designed, user-friendly interface, this is it. That's pretty much all it does, and it would be great for team use.

If you use TextExpander for WAY more than emails, like I do (code snippets, custom dynamic date fields, auto-form filling using tab and return keys, link-shortening, etc.), this will not work for you. While the design is much nicer, Typedesk has 1/10 the functionality of TextExpander, so it's not a suitable replacement for TextExpander power users.

That being said, it looks like a great product if you're wanting to create canned emails, and it's going to be better for tech newbies. TextExpander's interface isn't the greatest or most user-friendly at times, so this app is a great introduction you'll be able to pick up quickly. As a TE power user, it just won't work for me personally.
