It was a headache to test continuously our event pages. Sometimes, the server was unavailable. Sometimes, the event date was not updated everywhere on the page. Sometimes, the tech forgot to change the lead form for the new event... Thanks to Uilicious, all these problems are gone for good.
I never use software like this. Uilicious very easy to use and easy to understand. It is very flexible for example if you want to fill the form field you do not need to know internal form field name. you just need to use the label you see on the screen. plus the api is easy to understand and good documentation . This software has potential but still have areas for improvement. - i think i need to use Javascript Error checker on page. Since javascript is essential on website nowadays. If it has any error on page, It will course the page unable to use. - Assets loading checker on page for example, Is css/image loading successfully or something has 404 errors. - Local Testing.. (may be through client-server library/plugin etc.) . Overall it is good to use this software for testing online web application.
Automated Testing has always been way too hard, messy, artificially so, it seems. UIlicious is easy and intuitive to start, and the learning curve is pretty gentle as you can look up functions as you need them. Support is excellent, and Andrew is generous with his time on training and answering questions. This is a product I have been waiting for for a long time.
This product is a no-brainer if you are into web development. This has made our testing so much easier. We were able to get this up and running within 10 minutes and even that feels like unnecessary now. We feel we can write test cases in 3-4 minutes each, this is how easy this tool is and even a person with no coding background can write most test cases.
Some features that would be nice to have in the future are: - Option for white-labeling reports - Ability to use a CNAME for the domain - Ability to upload an APK file and do mobile app testing
