Q: We aim to integrate UNA CMS for our community directory.

Is it possible to implement a Single Sign-On (SSO) solution that allows users already logged into the directory to automatically access UNA? We prefer to avoid requiring users to log in separately through UNA, Facebook, or Google.

A: Yes, UNA support oAuth 2.0 SSO as Server or as Client. Other adapters like SAML are available in custom builds, too.

Oh, and UNA-ID (your custom ID), Facebook and Google already supported.

I have found on your website the following: “ Enable users to join your site using account credentials from another UNA site.” But we want SSO the other way: allow users to join UNA site using credentials from another non UNA site. Can it be done? Please confirm. Thanks.

Yes, as long as the other side offers SSO IDs via oAuth2 protocol. Other SSO protocols (like LDAP) can be configured as well but we usually need to do it manually.
