Q: Is Uniquery HIPAA compliant?
If we wanted to connect this to a EHR (electronic health record) database for reporting purposes, it would need to be HIPAA compliant. If Uniquery is not HIPAA compliant, do you have plans to make it so in the future?

Mar 24, 2025A: Hello,
Thank you for your interest in Uniquery and for your question regarding HIPAA compliance. As of now, Uniquery is not specifically HIPAA compliant. However, it is important to highlight that Uniquery does not store any of the data it pulls. The data retrieved through Uniquery is directly transferred to your Google Sheets, which you fully control, akin to storing data locally but in an online spreadsheet.
As a European company, we adhere strictly to GDPR regulations, ensuring robust data protection and privacy standards. While we currently do not have HIPAA compliance, we are committed to aligning our product with industry standards and are actively working towards enhancing our compliance capabilities, including HIPAA.
This approach ensures that while using Uniquery, you have control over your data with minimal risk related to data privacy and security, facilitated by our GDPR compliance and the direct data handling method via Google Sheets.
If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to ask. Your data security and privacy are of utmost importance to us.
Best regards,
Wei
