Q: Do I have to manually assign names to speaker at every paragraph break?
I just signed up for a test account, and I really like what I see so far. Elegant in its simplicity, truly.
Is there a way to assign speaker names just once, and then the system is smart enough to then assign the names to each speaker as the dialogue progresses? Or is that something that must be done manually?

To answer your question:
Right now, our system can automatically separate the speakers (like Speaker A and Speaker B), but it doesn’t yet auto-detect who is “David” or “Tom.” You can quickly rename them in bulk (for example, change all “Speaker A” to “David”), but it does require that manual step.
This is currently the standard approach across most transcription tools.
