What is the long-term direction of the app?
1. will it be a counterpart to fireflies.ai?
2. are recordings of meetings via Teams, Zoom, Google Meet etc. planned?
3. is it planned to become GDPR-compliant? Otherwise the app is a no-go for users in the European Union

1. On the long-term direction:
We’ve definitely looked at fireflies.ai. It’s a strong product and in many ways a competitor. We offer some similar features like AI-powered meeting summaries, and we also have some unique directions. Our vision goes beyond just meetings. We’re focused on helping users extract insights from all kinds of information-heavy audio and video like lectures, talks, interviews, and more. Features like mindmaps help visualize the structure of the content, which is part of our broader goal.
2. On meeting integrations:
Yes, integrations with platforms like Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet are in our roadmap! We see them as important to making UniScribe more seamless and useful.
3. On GDPR compliance:
GDPR compliance is absolutely on our radar, especially as we grow our user base in the EU. While we don’t have a confirmed timeline yet, it’s something we plan to address after we’ve further developed the product’s core features.
