I am quite dissatisfied with the support team at Unmixr AI. I purchased the Tier 3 plan, which promises the voice cloning feature. However, I contacted support@unmixr.com two days ago and have yet to receive any response. This lack of communication is disappointing and frustrating.

I’ve paid for lifetime enterprise plans with Speechello, Talkify, and tried a bunch of other text-to-speech apps, but the voices here really blew me away. They sound incredibly real, and the built-in AI makes it simple to create content that actually feels natural and polished.

The extra features are a big win, and the fact that voice cloning is part of the package is seriously impressive. If you’re just getting into TTS apps, this is the one I’d point you to first. It’s packed with way more than just voice generation too, which is a nice bonus.

Out of everything I’ve tried, this app gives you the most bang for your buck. You can tell the team behind it actually cares about their users and wants to build something long-term. Most companies feel like they’re just out to cash in, but Unmixr keeps pushing out updates and improving.

There are plenty of AI tools offering TTS features, but what makes this one stand out is how real it sounds, how easy it is to use, and just how much you get with it.

I am using Unmixr since two months and i can say that this is the best tool for text-to-speech on appsumo. I am writing this review in context of indian accent of english, hindi & other regional languages. There is lot to improvise. My suggestion is to add template setting for stroy-telling, news, audiobook etc. so that the engine gives best results.

Cons i found is in UI, it lags sometimes, and sometimes it doesnt give output. Also, for some indian voices, there is background noise in the final audio, but it was gone after few regeneration. I am not sure of the reason.
Also, API is not yet available. This restricts any automation you want to do for clients. So, requesting unmixr team to work on this as well. All the best to Unmixr team for future development.

The software is good and useful. It saves you from having to pay monthly subscriptions for other software for tools like "Text to Speech"...

I bought a relatively high tier, and I’ll keep it, as I find it to be a valuable tool to have in my arsenal.

The only problem I see, and this is due to my designer background, is that I am deeply bothered by the interface design and UI it has.

From my designers pov It’s outdated and ugly... We are in 2025... I believe that visual appearance and UI/UX in this era should meet standards of modernity and aesthetics, and I think this is a significant weak point in Unmixr.

It’s such a pleasure when the software is good, and also visually appealing...

I hope the developers can allocate time to improve this aspect, which is one of the most important.

That said, the tool does what it needs to do and is good piece of technology to have.

Overall I am impressed with the sound quality of the provided voices. Cloning of my own voice was straight forward process (under 80 seconds) and the ouput was eerily good. I was primarily testing the TTS capabilites of ePub and PDFs. Simple to upload the doc and generate the mp3. Some suggestions for finesse would include ease of changing the project name and better indication that the mp3 was completed. On screen, it looked like it was perpetually generating, but thankfully - I received an email that it was finished. There is still a lot of rich functionality to further explore - but so far it meets my primary use-case. Thanks team!
