I asked for help installing XtraBackup on my Ubuntu 22 server, because it threw errors during the install. I also asked if UpBack supports Amazon Aurora, because when I enter the Aurora hostname, it fails validation. I'm assuming it's because the hostname field is expecting an IP address like 127.0.0.1, but it should certainly accept a name as well. Anyway, I guess I'll never get the answers to these questions, lol.
----- UPDATE OCTOBER 18tth ----- UpBack responded to my review (below) asking me to email them again, which I did, and they responded this time. Therefore, I've increased the rating to three tacos. Unfortunately, they don't support Amazon Aurora, even though it's drop-in compatible with MySQL, so I ended up refunding. However, if you're using standard MySQL, this deal might be worth checking out.
