Really Cool Coaching Platform

I'm not a coach yet, but getting ready to add coaching soon. I also have a couple of different course program software packages (LMS) that are strictly for courses, where this platform is more for coaching. Looks like you can build out detailed 1 to 1 and group coaching programs, include membership sites. set appointments, and manage all your clients within the software.

It's a better way to provide coaching than other course platforms I've looked at. I've really only played around with it for a short time, but here's what I can share:

1 - I love the accountability pieces (tasks, habit tracker, etc.) I think this is a game-changer for coaches. This is the main reason I purchased this one.

2 - You can add "courses" within the program. I saw that several people asked about accepted video platforms. The options offered for embedding are limited (only youtube, vimeo, loom, and maybe one or two others), BUT if you use an HTML block instead of a video block you can embed a video from other services (like Hippo Video or HypermediaLabs if you're an Appsumo user.). While it's not in the block called "video" it works just fine with iframe code in the html block so no worries there.

3 - While the software doesn't currently include quizzes, third-party embed works just fine here as well. The limiting issue is that it's not connected to the Upcoach system tracking, so you'd have to look up results externally, but at least it looks seamless on the client side.

3B - On the flip side of that, they do include smart documents that you can use with clients. This is another unique feature that sets Upcoach apart from the rest and I imagine can be used in a variety of ways.

4 - Branding - I love that it can be white-labeled, but a few changes would make it better: A) I'd love to use a hex/pms code instead of choosing from the limited color selections to match our brands, and B) having a universal settings area for buttons, links, etc., by workspace so we just have to set up the branding once and then can override on pages if needed would be awesome.

5 - Payment is not built in yet, but you can easily embed a link from your payment processor, so it will seem cohesive on client's end. It's not automatic, but the workaround isn't a deal breaker.

6 - Client Notifications - I don't see a way to customize client emails and notifications. I assume we'll need to use a third-party email for most communications, but even if it doesn't do all the emails, it would be nice to be able to customize transactional responses such as task/habit reminders, meeting notifications, or the next lesson is unlocked, etc. I didn't see any option for that, but I've only used it for a few minutes.

Overall, I think it's an awesome deal and going to be a great tool. Can't wait to see how it grows!
