Q: Can it open a Word doc in my iPad?
If I open a Word document in my iPad does it automatically convert it to PDF before I can use the editing tools?
OR
Does it open as a Word document, allow me to edit (the Word document) like it would if it were in a PDF, then convert the end result to a PDF when I save or convert it?
Thanks.

May 15, 2024A: Hi, thanks for your question.
UPDF for iOS app can open most common formats such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, Pages, Keynotes and Numbers, and extract files from a zipped(compressed) folder, and also Open other formats such as text, HTML(.html, xhtml), XML, Web Archive, Images( JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, SVG, BMP) , video, audio.
It can view Word document, however, you cannot edit it. The iOS app does not support edit PDF, either. Now only desktop version (Windows or Mac) support content editing. We plan to add editing in iOS and Android App, but it needs time. :)
