The software was stuck on processing the 28 MB TIff file for over 45 minutes, so I gave up and tried it on the JPEG. The file took a 10MB Jpeg and reduced it to a few Kilobytes and the image was jaggy and pixelated, worse than the original file. It doesn't seem to create bigger files, it makes smaller ones, it is a compression JPEG mini application from what I can tell.

I may return this software, but will wait to hear their answers to questions.
