URL Monitor has been praised for its efficient indexing and user-friendly interface, making a significant impact on organic growth. However, some users have expressed disappointment over the lack of certain features promised during the AppSumo deal and occasional inaccuracies in data and notifications. Despite these drawbacks, URL Monitor remains a solid option for those looking to automate site indexing and boost visibility. Not recommended

I purchased URL Monitor through AppSumo because the software seemed promising and aligned with my needs. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short of my expectations.

The Main Issue:
The connection between URL Monitor and Google Search Console (GSC) simply didn’t work. Despite correct setup and proper permissions (Owner status in the GSC), the connection remained inactive. I expected the provider to offer a clear solution or support to address this issue, but that didn’t happen.

The Support:
My biggest disappointment was the support. I contacted them multiple times and tried to resolve the issue together. However, responses were consistently delayed and unhelpful. What frustrated me the most was the suggestion that firewalls or security software on my side might be causing the issue. This explanation makes no sense, as the connection between GSC and URL Monitor is server-side and has nothing to do with my local computer.

The Conclusion:
After weeks of back-and-forth with support and no viable solution, I had no choice but to cancel my purchase. While the software may sound good on paper, it is currently not recommendable in practice. The service does not work, and the support team could neither resolve the issue nor provide a satisfactory explanation.

I cannot recommend URL Monitor. It’s frustrating to invest time in setup and troubleshooting only to end up with no results.

I am disappointed

The tool seemed very promising. In the end, it works averagely. The lack of all functions for sumolings so soon after their debut on appsumo is a complete failure.

Disappointed

Disappointed, but these days, I am not surprised. When I brought up concerns about URL Monitor relying on Google's API I was told not to worry and that many cool features would be coming. I wish URL Monitor had told us this would not be included for AppSumo users. Not talking about Team, and Bing. Seriously, who cares about Bing?

After months of beta testing the platform and its buggy mass GSC email blasts in duplicate (clients were not happy), the least they could do is let us see how the new features worked or didn't work.

Oh well, I'm still using URL Monitor... even though some of the data isn't accurate, and the notifications are sometimes drunk.

Bait and switch..

The indexing works from what I can see. However, it's not cool that you listed features under the Appsumo deal as included but then upsell them. I understand that these extra features cost you money, but you should have researched better before launching on AppSumo. Using the platform to mislead customers about URL monitoring being an upsell is dishonest and shows the company lacks trustworthiness.

Does not do what it says.

I bought tier 4 and added two sites, which should let me index 2500 pages per site a day. After one day it only did 173 pages on one and 151 pages on the other. This is after all 25 worker accounts are active per site. In saying this, I will update the review if the speed picks up. As of now, I don’t know how Tier 5 is any better then Tier 1.

We do not have a Tier 5. Not sure if you bought our software or someone else. Here are URL Monitor, as a reminder, we also do not guarantee indexing. Any software claiming guarantee on indexing is mis-leading. Our goal in the software is to push your pages into the indexing flow, but ultimately the decision comes from the search engine itself. Bad/thin content will rarely index - unless sitting on...
