Q: What Happened to AppSumo?
What happened to AppSumo? It used to be a great platform, but it feels like customers have been abandoned. Back in October, Noah mentioned addressing "bad apples" and promised legal steps to protect customers: "We are going to do everything we can to ensure that our partners are honoring the terms they agreed to and treating our community with respect." (Oct, 8, Noah)
Yet, what we see now is the opposite—you’ve let your loyal users down. If Uteach is struggling financially, there were other ways to introduce new lifetime deals without punishing existing users. Betraying your community is not the solution.

We appsumo consumers (I'm AP plus) are getting nothing from Appsummo. This deal is for us to move to the transition for subscription model, why we don't get a better deal. I think the free tier from Uteach is better than the one we have. Oh and on top of that the commissions are higher than expected. Appsumo is looking to get less buyers, I guess.
