Another failed product

Luckily I only purchased tier 1 of this one and never implemented it, as I saw the writing on the wall back in 2022. I’m not sure what’s more disappointing, get another breach of “LTD” terms, or the fact that AppSumo never even notified me of this and I went discovered the current status through another USER comment on a different product.

They Changed the Terms

I purchased the Tier 1 license in May 2022. I was using it regularly without any trouble. The limitations on this license level were annoying by tolerable. Then, in January 2025, they changed the rules and no longer honor the Lifetime Deal. Now, in order to access features that I've already paid for, I have to pay for a monthly subscription. I cancelled my account, and it makes me seriously question future AppSumo deals...

How Can You Change the Terms of a Deal After Selling It?

By downgrading our plan, you have left us with no choice but to address this issue. We need to understand your concerns, but more importantly, who is addressing ours? When a company runs a campaign on AppSumo, it is expected that they honor their commitments to the people who trusted and invested in their solution.

So, let me be clear: you are making a huge mistake by treating your earliest supporters—those who believed in you first—this way. There are certainly better ways to address financial challenges than alienating loyal customers. However, if this is the path you choose, rest assured that such actions may lead to legal consequences, including repayment with interest, penalties, and corrections.

I sincerely hope you reconsider your decision before it’s too late.
