Q: Charging For Face Changes | Using Another Program To Get Consistent 'Faces'
Hi Anil & Vadoo Team, is there a reason you charge for a face change (I see my 2000 credit being used up fairly quickly, so I can imagine what happens for a person on a lower plan)? I've had to face change EVERY FACE in ANOTHER software (which I have to pay credits for, too) to get character consistency and bring it back to your program because your program doesn't get it consistent as of now from scene-to-scene. I like the program - it's cool with some reworking, but I have many moving parts to get a 'consistent' outcome.
Also, if there are TWO characters in a scene, it changes the face of the wrong person, and then I have to regenerate again. I'm doing several steps within the software to get the semi-desired outcome - you all should reconsider this. Your software is a ways from getting the consistent character thing down pat. Thanks.

Dec 20, 2024A: Face change runs on GPU servers and thus costs us for each generation. Having kept that in mind we have kept a nominal cost of 5 credits for one generation. Vadoo AI does let you get consistent character traits as much as possible such as the ethnicity, looks etc. but face cannot be kept consistent by any software in general. To solve this we have released the face change feature.
Face change works by picking the biggest face in the image and doing the change and thus if you have another character with a bigger face in the image it can do a wrong swap

I think you should ask if we had an issue while regenerating. Then, check if this is the case. Also, I get the Flux cost thing - you need to be sustainable, but you need to understand the issues we face. We lose, too, if the generations do not come out correctly. 50 credits is a huge loss, and those -5 credits for the face changes add up fast.

OK, I will try to keep supporting this because your STRENGTH lies in not having to stitch together 5 to 10-second videos, then add voices to sync up in Capcut, transitions in another program, etc. Those programs CAN do CHARACTER CONSISTENTLY effortlessly now, but no system is perfect regarding the flow of things. BTW, YES, you CAN get consistent faces now - I do it all the time

I've supported you guys before this - FYI, EARLY supporter here. This is STILL a SOLID product, which I'm sure will get better with time, but I know that you're not just on here for cash infusion into the business, I'm sure you want the 'beta-tester' feedback
