The app itself looks greatand has potential, but the credit system is a serious limitation. The product recomendations, chat, etc have been great so far. BUT. every single AI reply uses up a credit, even during setup and testing. Within less than a day of light testing I had already burned through over 10% of my monthly allowance. For a business that expects to grow, this feels far too restrictive and creates concern about long-term usability. The idea is solid, but the reply-based credit model makes it hard to recommend with confidence.

After you install the app Vanchat searches you whole website to gather your data: products, FAQ, polies etc. With advance learning it can answer question, suggest products, or offer discounts. Who says E-commerce isn't great, sure beats walking around a brick-and-mortar store just trying to find someone who can help. As a Shopify store owner, I can spend less time on what VanChat does great, and more time on all of the other things to make my store great for my customers. Thank you VanChat.

I am about to launch my shopify store. I knew support & product questions, but I am just a one-gal band, so I knew I was going to need some help. I bought VanChat and added it to my about-to-go-live site. 10 minutes (really) of walking through onboarding and it worked like a charm. It makes product suggestions, answers questions, gives further communication options and lots more. I have everything I could think of, and more, with a zero learning curve. It doesn't get better than that.

Vanchat is a real game changer. Easy installation, and you can train the bot perfectly. A must-have for all Shopify owners.

Overall, I liked the tool. However, they just added a "feature" which is asking the customer if they'd like a discount. This is absolutely awful and should be removed immediately. At minimum, this should be an option that you can toggle on or off.

Unfortunately, I will be disabling VanChat and getting a refund right away as it is not a feature that can be powered off. When I contacted support about it, they said it cannot be powered off, but I can request that as a future roadmap addition.
