I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to make an exception for VanChat. I spent a lot of time looking into different customer support and sales assistant chatbots for my Shopify store. At first, I was focused on finding an omni-channel solution that I could train once and use across multiple platforms. Most standalone chatbots don’t have a native Shopify integration, so I was leaning towards using API action calls via Zaps.

Then I stumbled upon VanChat, and everything changed. It checked every box for what we needed. I decided to dig a little deeper and see what it was all about. I was impressed, but I had some questions, so I reached out through their website support. Within 40 minutes, I got multiple responses, not only answering my questions but also suggesting features I hadn’t even thought of.

I ended up chatting with Lucas from support about integrating with Shopify, and that sealed the deal for me. Finding a great product is hard enough, but finding one with stellar support? That’s even rarer.

Now, onto the actual chatbot—it was super easy to install, and the setup was incredibly intuitive. Honestly, it automated most of the process for me. The features are fantastic, and it’s completely streamlined our customer support and sales process. I have tried a number of similar AI chats, and integrated to shopify, non of which have suited my needs. This is the first to be usable to the point I feel comfortable to share it with customers on an ongoing basis. It really has a seamless integration and I am yet to spot any of the usual quirks you get with AI bots. The fact it references real products on the store if fantastic.

Great work on this and I hope it continues to improve! My only negative comments would be I hope human handover (and an iOS app) comes in future, for now whatsapp works but some customers are less comfortable using it. I also think the UI / menus could be a little more intuitive / navigate-able but I am sure this will come in time.

I tested every Shopify bot and had settled on using Rep.ai, but the pricing was minimum $100 a month for my needs. Then I found VanChat here and at first was skeptical but after constant testing not only found it as good as Rep but actually better out of the box. No hallucinations, understands products, has solid proactive messaging and will only get better over time. I’m super excited. Not to mention Lucas himself has been ultra responsive and helpful. Don’t miss this deal, I went to the Top Tier since know I’ll get my value out of this one. ❤️

VanChat has some missing features, but when I explored the dashboard, I found that those features are coming soon, which is satisfying.
