A: On Desktop Safari, the default playback is Flash for our secure encrypted streaming. (All details on compatibility - https://www.vdocipher.com/blog/drm-compatibility-explanation/). So the default recommended browsers in desktop are Chrome, Firefox, Opera for HTML5 playback. Fairplay DRM integration is required for html5 on Safari Desktop, Fairplay integration requires a separate application process with Apple from the content owner/distributor and only when you get the license, we can integrate it. Thus, Integration of Fairplay DRM is a manual process for each account & and can only be done when(and if) you get a Fairplay license (we do guide on the process and application). We charge $100 extra one time for Fairplay integration as we have to configure each account separately, and the process can not be automated due the way Apple has made the procedures available.
