On the fence? Here is the thing you need to hear — You only need VdoCipher if you’re selling premium videos that people actually want to pirate.

It has no other unique functionality., But, this file protection functionality really works. I tried to crack it with several methods I know to work (i’m even able to download Wisita videos) and I couldn’t crack VdoCipher.

So, it’s kind of black and white, right? Do you really need DRM for your videos? If yes, this is it.

Are you let down by the lack of “true” LTD because of the bandwidth?

Think of it like you’re paying for the video player, but you still need to pay for hosting to actually use it. They’re just throwing in some storage bandwidth to get you started.

It’s similar to buying a WordPress plugin. You need to have a web server to be able to actually use the plugin — and you have to pay for that because moving bits (bandwidth) costs money.

So, if this fits the bill and you don’t need marketing features, I actually prefer this over VooPlayer because the UI is just easier and playback on mobile was rock solid (this is always something people complain about when I mention VooPlayer -- they have improved but you have to enable the iOS settings, something most people never notice as it's a "beta" feature).

Have VooPlayer and feeling FOMO? Stop it! Voo is still great and does many other things VdoCipher can’t, so you need to think about how it fits with your marketing stack (don't just collect everything — unless you want to, no judgement here).
