I am a multi-year lurker, first time reviewer. I spent a lot of time going back and forth whether to buy Vectera or not. Read multiple reviews and went through all of the questions.

Ultimately, I decided to buy the big package, mainly because of the promise behind Vectera and the fact that our Zoom/Whereby accounts will be up for renewal soon.

Overall, the tool is robust and stable. It can tell it's been refined over time. That isn't to say it's perfect. It's not. The underlying tech implementation seems good. However, the platform suffers (a little) from insular design thinking. The team has probably been so hard at work refining the tech stack that they haven't given the same attention to the UI/UX itself. This needs improvement.

I discovered in a few cases that settings seem to be scattered and hidden under different locations. Ex. The setting to lock/unlock a created room isn't in room settings menu. It's currently under Invites (?). I had to reach out to support to find it. Oliver responded quickly and told me where to look. Support is good, but this is another issue: documentation sparse. Something that I'm sure will be improved with time.

The tool also seems to lack global scheduling settings. I would like the ability to control a global calendar, not just calendars in individual rooms.

Overall, I'm liking the tool hence the 4-taco review. This platform is certain to improve, which is why I decided to get in now.
