I really like the whole idea of using blockchain for contracts, also the document creating process feels good to me. A lot of remarks and ideas are already provided by other commenters. From my side, the worst thing was that the e-mail notifiers immediately went to our SPAM-Folders. I think this is so damn important if your whole product is settled on notifying every party for a good process. Customization of the design of these mails is also something I would like to see.
BUG: I don't understand, why I always receive 2 OTP's with every login and I have to try out which one is the right one.

Hey matthias49,
Thanks for the feedback and review.
We'll look into the bug. Thanks for letting us know.
I’m writing to encourage others to stay away for now. I bought one of the licenses and uploaded a few documents for clients. When I signed them on my end, they said that they were correctly signed and sent to the other party. However, the other party didn’t get them signed, and subsequently, my signature appears as “pending” and I’m asked to sign iall over again.
I’ve also had clients sign documents on their end, but their signatures don’t get saved and appeared as pending on my side.
This is a product that is clearly not fit for use.
I’ll gladly update this if issue is corrected. Otherwise, I encourage others to look for other options.

Hey Jaraca,
Thanks for your review.
Please email us at support@veridocglobal.com so that we can look into this.
Looking forward to you updating your review once we have resolved your issue.
This could be a 5-taco deal and therefore I will not be asking for a refund because it has the potential to be great.
However, there are some problems that could seemingly be fixed quickly that make things much more difficult. I really hope these problems will be worked out and that I'll want to come back here and change my rating.
Here are just a few:
-- BIGGEST PROBLEM: There's absolutely no training materials or help section! WTH?! I have never bought another Appsumo deal that doesn't have a training or a help section. In fact, I don't think I've ever bought anything that didn't have instructions -- even crappy instructions written in Chinese.
-- The dashboard columns has a column for "Created By" but it then displays the User's email address instead of their name. Not too big of deal but why use the email address and not the creator's name? It should be super easy to find contracts.
-- In a related matter, you can search for documents by the creator's name but not by the recipient's name. The problem with that is you'd most likely want to find a contract by the recipient's name because you'd most likely be looking for a contract you created.
-- There's not even a column for the primary recipient so it's not easy to find the contract for a particular person unless you have the foresight to include the person's name at the beginning of the document file you will eventually be uploading. I call this an "unforced error" because it should be very easy to see the names of people the contracts are being sent to.
-- There's a section for adding a message to the recipient but it's limited to 140 characters but it seems to go out as an email so why the limit? If it's being sent as an email then there should be no limit to the number of characters.
-- I've added users but only one was able to confirm their accounts. And they ask me for answers but I have no idea why they can't confirm their accounts. UPDATE: It seems that the two-factor verification is causing a problem because when I turn it off, they can login. If I turn it back on again, they get the verification message but it doesn't work.
-- They also can't see any of the documents they signed -- but didn't create -- in the dashboard. Right now, I create the documents and then send the documents to my partner to sign.
Those were the main problems and it's disappointing because most of them are pretty easy to fix.

Hey MrStoked,

We are currently working on the release of a new website and will work on adding more FAQs and training. In the meantime, you can access what we have done so far from:
Five tacos for the potential of the product and dedication of the team. The product is good, but still has quite a bit of room for improvement. Got license tier 3, and look forward to seeing it grow.
I'm an international law lawyer. Based on my usage in the past few weeks, here are my suggestions:
- Scheduled Reminders: Currently, documents are sent for signature, and reminders must be manually sent. This is inconvenient when you have 100s of documents. Ideally, we can set set a schedule for reminders to automatically be sent every X days until signed, cancelled or rejected.
- Expiry Date: Currently, there is no way to set expiry dates. Some contracts expire at a certain date and there is a need to make sure they are revoked if not signed by then. Ideally, we can set a number of days or particular date when a contract will automatically be cancelled if not signed. Even better, the expiry could be put on the blockchain for evidence.
- Date Formats: Currently, the most preferred format for international contracts, DD MMMM YYYY (e.g., 19 August 2022) is not available. In the US, MMDDYYYY is used, but DDMMYYYY is used in the UK. What happens if the contract is between a US and UK person? DD MMMM YYYY would be the clearest. Separate date fields for day, month and year, would also be helpful as some documents use the convention "the Dth day of MMMM, YYYY."
- Restrict Signature Type: Currently, signatures can be typed, drawn or uploaded. Some government agencies will only accept a "drawn" signature. So being able to restrict a signature to drawn only, or disable typed signatures, is important.
- Certification Page: Currently, a QR code must be appended to the document to be signed, and audit trails must be manually generated. This is a problem as (1) some government forms do not have space for a QR code, and (2) some government agencies require e-signed documents to be submitted with an audit trail. Ideally, a certification page could be automatically generated and appended to the start or end of the document with a QR code, audit trail and other relevant information.
- Signing Order: Currently, all signers can sign at any time. This is a problem, for example, when a company resolution may need to be signed by all directors before it is certified by the secretary. It would look very bad to government authorities if the secretary signed the certification before the directors signed the resolution.
- Multi-Document Support: Currently, if multiple documents have to be signed together, they must be manually combined in 1 pdf file before being uploaded. This is a problem, for example, when I've formed a company for a client and 6-9 documents must be signed, then stored as separate files for separate purposes. A solution would be to allow multiple documents to be put into the "envelope" and have the certification page (see above) listing the file names of all documents in the envelope appended to each when downloaded separately.

Significant room for improvement
I miss the possibility to store documents as templates, which I have signed regularly.
Furthermore, I do not find any possibilities to individualize an email message and save it as a template.
Overall, I wish I could customize VeriDoc Sign according to my personal needs.

Good, Practical Product with Great Potential
