Q: Does the AppSumo deal have the limit of 10 Hires Yearly that is listed in the Basic plan on the Vervoe website?
Does this mean that with the AppSumo deal I con not hire more than 10 people per year? I am hiring for temporary, short term positions. Hence, I will easily exceed the 10 hire limit.
Q: Really Shady Appsumo - you can't leave a review on a product if you refund?
Hmmm....
I refunded, had a look around and decided that the tool while useful was majorly limited with no AI.
I read all the other reviews, and the bit that made me jump ship was Vevoe contacting our candidates after the interview process, they own the videos and the IP on any candidates submitted work.
Does this then mean that they own the IP on any custom templates that we create? In effect we end up building resources and customers for their product which they monetize.
So I liked the idea - but the execution brought up too many ethical questions around IP ownership and us building their business.
Ok in conclusion, I get they are giving us a real deal at this price, thank you for that, but my hires and my brand could be blemished by how interactions and IP are handled outwith my control.
This is an important question if the company contacts candidates this is a clear no go! Also that the videos are their IP is a no go! Templates should be private ownership and could be released on a marketplace which others could buy. The company can take a cut but not just say it is theirs!
Q: I think deals like these needs to be ignored by the AppSumo community - it's not the value we come here for.
We not expecting to receive anything free here, but don’t deal us with a half-baked deal. Vendors who try to limit AppSumo deals too much must not be supported by the community and vendors who open AppSumo plans with all the bells and whistles will receive better support here on AppSumo.
In short – show your support by supporting the great deals and leave the ones only giving you access to half the features. If more sumolings start following that approach, the quality of the deals these vendors lay in front of us will be of much greater standards.
Q: Hi all, I am looking for this deal, Let me know If I can get this?
Thanks

Q: I asked this before, but the question is not approved and stays hidden in moderation while other questions have been approved since.
Trying once more again, I hope you will allow this to be posted for all to see.
1) Is it true that Vervoe surveys job candidates without consent at the end of the process?
2) Do you email job candidates afterwards with a "How do you rate the hiring process" survey email?
3) Is it true that you claim to own the IP (intellectual property) of the video's and surveys our candidates send to Vervoe?

All the best with the launch.
