You can either create your own strategy or use existing strategies created by other people. Then you can test those strategies to see if they are making money. From there on, you can either trade with fake money or real money.

It's quite a simple concept. You would think more brokers would have this built into into them. But they don't. Perhaps some Forex brokers do... but that's another different game.
