Not Servicing the US

I do not know when but they no longer service the US. I was not notified about it. It takes weeks/months with multiple eMails to get 1 simple answer from their support. Can you imagine having responses to their answer? It took literally 2 months to find this out.

It was a quick buy...

I scooped this up very quickly since I had been waiting for this for a long time to be offered via AppSumo. I bought this deal despite the negative reviews, negative responses via the question area, and lack of response from the ViaBill team. I purchased anyway...because I wanted to give this company the benefit of the doubt...and like I said, it was a service I had been waiting on for a good long while from AppSumo. I was so excited!

I saw people complaining about the $300 - $500 thing, but this company already explained that there is ANOTHER plan that Sumolings will have access to through this deal, that will allow sellers to offer higher ticket items. I saw that repeatedly in the questions and found my answer. So not taking a taco off for that. No... first and foremost, I'm removing a taco because I can't even solicit this service in my state, which was NOT mentioned on the AppSumo offer. Listen, if you aren't going to offer it to the entire United States than have the decency to list the excluded states that won't be able to benefit from this service. This is ultimately the reason I'll be asking for a refund.

The next taco removed is for customer service. So they have a cute little AI bot on the page. Awesome! Fantastic! It doesn't answer any questions - but gathers contact info so they can contact you back. Cool. I was all set to do that but went to check on FAQs before entering my email address, and another chat thing appeared with the face of a human being...named Marc.
The bot identified itself as a bot. Marc did not identify himself as a bot. I was ecstatic to see that the complaints about their horrible customer service were not real. So I asked Marc a question. At this moment, 40 minutes later, have not received any response. Customer service needs a lot of improvement. So, unfortunately...I will be initiating a refund. I really wanted this service...but it won't be through ViaBill.

Bought right away and cannot sign up - only get to speak to the AI BOT they got - then noticed it also is ONLY available for legal use in CERTAIN STATES Right on their page This solicitation for business is limited to US residents in the states of AL, AK, AR, DE, GA, HI, ID, IN, IA, KY, MI, MN, MO, MT, NM, OH, OK, UT, VA, WA, WY RUN DO NOT BUY - - If it takes this long to sign up and NOT get an answer imagine the pain to get paid - and then I noticed the 300.00 thing. BAD Purchase!

Doesn't work yet

I'd leave a worse review if i could. I put in my information, have a working shopify store at https://attackarea51.com , Bought code, filled out info, had to fill out support ticket to even get email days later for login password email link. It's been since this deal was first started, still don't have this installed and not getting replies from email support. This is a scam! Don't BUY!

Their contract doesn't reflect the deal terms and includes an exclusivity clause

I purchased this deal because for what Appsumo said it seems like a good deal, promising "bigger orders and higher conversion rates" and comparing it to BMW's financing options, then I found out that the maximum to finance was $300.

Then the copy says that "when you use ViaBill, you're guaranteed payment upfront and peace of mind", but the truth is that you have to wait 5 days to get paid and if the client complains for whatever reason it seems like you will have to fight your case and prove your case, I am not too clear about this because Viabill has refused to give clear examples of what happens in this case. Also a sumoling has mentioned a lot of concerning reviews about ViaBill practices and ViaBill responded that they can't make everyone happy, instead of going into a detailed explanation of their practices.

Reading the sales conversation in the deal's pae, in general we can see the following: ViaBill keeps giving vague answers to sumolings, contradicting answers to different sumolings, avoids answering specific questions, etc.

But on top of all of that, what's making me return this deal are some of the clauses in the contract they make you sign, like their exclusivity clause, possible hidden costs, the fact that they require your social security number and birthdate after they have your business name ans tax number (I asked why exactly do they ask for this but I've received no answer), also summolings are asking why the $1500 fee is not mentioned even in their website, and the fact that the rates they promised for the Appsumo deal are not reflected in the contract, if you do read the contract you will see that they make you sign for their regular rates.

If you are getting this deal, make sure your attorney takes a look at the contract before you sign it.
