Q: Can You List the digital Products Platforms you cover please

You have a really interesting product. My use case is for digital products both as a product creator and also as an affiliate marketer.

Could you give me an idea of the range of digital products platforms you collect data on.

In your YT video you mention Gumroad, Question please do you also collect data on platforms such as
Clickbank, JVzoo, Warrior Plus, Paykickstart, Payhip, Digistore24 etc.

Additionally will your platform capture trending data for new product launches on such platforms in as close to real time as possible ?.

Could you advise which platforms are currently covered by Viable View.

Thank you kindly in advance for your help.

A: Hello :)

Great question! Thank you for writing in.

These are the current digital product marketplaces we scrape on a weekly basis:

Etsy
Gumroad
Cults3D
3docean.net
Shopify Theme Store
themeforest.net
videohive.net
codecanyon.net
graphicriver.net

When you search using the opportunity filter for digital products, you can click over to the product tab in the output. There, you can easily filter the results by marketplace and also see which marketplace each product is listed on in the far-right column.

Clickbank, JVZoo, Warrior Plus, and PayKickstart are all affiliate networks, so scraping those wouldn’t make much sense.

As for Payhip and Digistore24, we would scrape the individual stores using their platforms instead of scraping the marketplace itself. However, to be honest, these platforms aren’t big enough to make it worth the effort.

If anything, Stanstore might be our next data source. However, it would also require scraping individual stores, which is often far less accurate than scraping marketplaces. This is because marketplaces moderate reviews to prevent fake ones, allowing us to calculate an accurate sales-to-review ratio. On personal sites, people often post fake reviews, so we’d have to rely solely on meta-traffic data to estimate revenue.

Hope this helps :)
