A practical AI video tool with strong potential for fast content creation

Hi fellow Sumlings,

I purchased vidBoard because I’m building out content for my My2Incomes project and wanted a faster way to create talking-head style videos without having to record everything manually from scratch.

So far, I’ve been impressed with how quickly I can go from an idea or script to a usable video. The platform is particularly useful if you want to create educational videos, explainer content, YouTube videos, short-form content, or simple avatar-led presentations.

For me, the biggest benefit is speed. I can take a script, create slides or scenes, add an avatar, and produce something that would normally take much longer using traditional video recording and editing tools. This makes it easier to stay consistent with content creation, especially when you are working around a full-time role, family, and limited time.

To set expectations, whilst it is fast to get your video project started, you do need to allow it time to render. But that's totally ok, as you can crack on with another video project, other work or even do this in the evening and wake up to all your videos completed in the morning.

The avatar video feature is the main reason I bought it, and I can see this becoming a core part of my workflow. I have also been testing voice cloning. The first voice output was usable, although not perfect, so I’m experimenting with combining vidBoard with other voice tools to improve the final result. That said, the fact that I can create a clone-style avatar video at all, without needing a full studio setup, is very valuable.

The interface is relatively straightforward, and once you understand the flow, it becomes quite quick to create videos. I’ve already used it to create test content and can see myself using it regularly for YouTube, website content, reviews, tutorials, and affiliate-style videos.

A few areas could still improve. The voice cloning quality could be more natural, especially for non-US accents. With that said, I have only found one other product across many, many products, that has successfully cloned a Scottish voice. So, I'm not marking vidBoard down for that. One note; I fed that output back into the voice cloning tool in vidBoard did produce an improvement.

I’d like to see more refinement in avatar realism and editing flexibility over time, I understand that is coming next month, so keen to try that when it ships. As this is fast-moving AI space, there will be plenty of updates, but I have to say the tool is already very useful today.

Overall, I think vidBoard is a strong buy for creators, marketers, coaches, educators, affiliate marketers, and small business owners who want to produce more video content without spending hours recording and editing.

It is not a complete replacement for high-end manual video production, but that is not really why I bought it. I bought it to help me create useful content faster and more consistently, and for that purpose, it does the job extremely well.

The support team are super responsive over email, and so far, I am happily impressed.

I’m super happy with the purchase and see a lot of potential as the platform continues to improve.

If you want an easy tool for video creation, you can't go wrong with vidBoard.
