Q: Have a question about the.

Minutes and clips limitation.

So theortically if I purchased tier 2 and I uploaded 5 YouTube videos that are 100 min long each but from those video let's say I only produced 200 minutes worth of clips would 8 still have 300 min left worth of clips to produce before exceeding limitation or is the orginal upload of those 5 YT videos of 100min long lasing the limitation of 500min. Sorry but I was a bit confused

A: Hey!

No worries, those are great questions. The minutes are based on the length of the YouTube videos. The reason for that is that we have to process the entire video which is a huge part of our costs. Clips do not impact the minutes - it's all based on the length of the videos themselves.

hi

some apps have the option to import part of a youtube video

they show sliders for start and end points that users select

and app imports the selected part of the youtube video

maybe you can do the same ?

This is a qoute from you're appsumo into "We've increased those numbers to be basically "as many as you need". We're matching the # of clips to the # of minutes"

Hey Diamondely!

That's correct. Clips do not use up minutes, but we do constrain the number of clips you can export per month. So if you're on the 100 minute tier, you can export 100 clips. Keep in mind that export is very specific - we allow you to create, edit, etc as many clips as you want. It's only when you click "Export" on a clip that we deduct it from your total. We have yet to have any users go over their limit or even come near it, so these limits should be more than enough for almost all of our users.
