In the latter case, I would ask for a refund because Video Tap would not be suited to my needs.
You said you would look into the matter at the beginning of May.

We support up to 4k if you upload a video file, but for YouTube we are constrained to whatever quality YouTube allows us to download. We're working on fixing this to make it more high quality, and are close, but haven't figured out a consistent way yet. But yes, we will absolutely support 1080p (and hopefully higher) for YouTube, don't worry!
We also have a LOT of the publishing to YouTube functionality built, but AppSumo has had us so swamped that we haven't been able to finish it out yet - but we'll get there soon!
