Okay so my review is MOSTLY positive, and to be honest, it's worth the 5 stars even with the things I have that aren't great about the platform.

Before I start... my qualifications are that I've been an executive virtual assistant for 8+ years and video editing has ALWAYS been something I avoided like the PLAGUE. It was so difficult for me to understand, figure out the tools, etc so I've always had to outsource it. And I hated that because I WANTED to be able to just do it myself. That's why VideoTap has been so incredible for me.

First... the positives:
1. It creates 5-10 second clips of your video to share to socials and adds really nice subtitles. It generates these automatically and you can choose some different effects for them.
2. It generates what are called "Chapters" - but they're a breakdown of what's happening at what time stamp in your video. SUPER helpful for long videos - and usually VERY spot on.
3. It creates a blog post that is suprisingly good. I was like oh I'd post that - with minimal edits. AND - this might be my favorite feature ever - you can screenshot your video and it'll add it into your blog post - creating a sort of engaging feel.
4. It provides a full transcript.

Things I don't love:
1. The 100 minute cap is SUPER limiting. Most of my clients have 60 minute + videos so this isn't ideal for me, but the 1000 minute cap also feels pretty limiting. Is it worth? I haven't yet decided - I might invest in the higher tier at a later time.
2. Sometimes the "chapters" (time stamp labels) don't generate past like 3 minutes, so you have to regenerate them. It's fast, but it's obnoxious when you're doing like 5 videos in a sprint.
3. Sometimes the subtitles for the clips are a bit off.
