Q: BYOK
I tried the demo out and this looks really useful but GPT is horrible at writing. It doesn't matter if you select a tone or give custom prompts, her vernacular is awful. Do you have any plans of allowing BYOK so we can connect Google AI Studio or Anthropic?

May 7, 2025A: We currently use a combination of GPT and Anthropic for the writing and depending on the task. I don't have any plans for a BYOK because AI is changing so fast it would pigeon hole the product into one or a few providers. The feedback from most of my users has always been they just want to use the "best" model so I have taken the onus of providing the best experience on myself. We are constantly testing various models (and mixtures of models) to provide the best result. I hope this answers your question.
It does and its a bummer because while the tool is awesome, the writing is not. Its riddled with em dashes and dramatic adjectives like revolutionary and boasts which is a clear tell its GPT. Even with a custom prompt to write as the person in the video speaks and rewriting sections, it just cant seem to kick the habit of generic AI verbiage. Being able to connect to different LLMs would help this
Like I said, we're always constantly evaluating models and are not completely tied to GPT. We'll also be coming out with some more features to better specify writing style and tone (like writing examples, brand voice, etc.) in the near future. I really appreciate your feedback on this though.
I agree with WhitneyLA on GPT fascination with dashes & strong adjectives. I dont need to pay for a detector when I see those dashes. Could they at least be hard coded out of all output. lol. No dashes!
You could always try putting that in our custom instructions. Something like "Do not include any dashes."
We need the option to use different models for the writing.
