Not what I expected.

I am not entirely happy with Video to Blog. Many of the photos selected for the blog post do not match the content. The tone is overly formal and academic, and when I gave a tone prompt, I got mostly the same content. I used ChatGPT with similar prompts and got a greatly improved blog. It is annoying to have to do this extra step, but it's too late to ask for a refund. I am hoping that this will improve over time.

Sorry to hear that. As far as the tone, this can be adjusted by adding some custom instructions. We are working on getting better relevant stock images, but in the mean time I suggest clicking on each each that isn't relevant and you'll find 3 other choices that the AI picked. Usually, (at least) one of those images is relevant. Thanks for the review and feedback.

Accuracy rate for (Chinese) transcript overstated

Dislike:
The most recent transcription (in Chinese) generated from an audio file I uploaded came out with apprx. 60% accurate instead of ~99% stated.

Hope this could be improved though.

Bloody Excellent!

I was skeptical and just bought tier 1 to test. But it does an amazing job and I was so impressed, I ended up making a video and promoting it to my audience.

Unfortunately, I forgot to upgrade to a higher tier before it closed and now I'm kicking myself a bit!

Makes me want to blog again and again and again

This App Sumo does what it says. Couldn't believe how fast the article generated with screenshots. I havent had time to set up automations so I just hit the copy HTML button when into my site pasted and it was there. I am very particular aboutmy blog posts but this needed very little changes to go live. Dontmiss this ome!!

Does Some of What It Claims Well; Some Things, Not So Much

I create a lot of video content, so repurposing that long-form content into blog posts was attractive to me, and that's why I bought this product. It does some things well, but others not so much.

From a Youtube link, the tool imports the video into the SAAS platform, and creates a blog post from the tool's analysis of the transcript. Then you can use the AI checker to "humanize" the content if it doesn't pass the built-in AI detector tool (hint: none of the content produced passes the AI checker tool) and this is when the trouble starts. Once the content is "humanized," it contains a LOT of mistakes that need to be corrected, such as misplaced commas, use of semi-colons rather than colons, and other grammatical oddities that no competent English speaker who has graduated middle school would produce in the written word. So then I have to go through the ENTIRE blog post and fix it all, which greatly increases my work and time to produce a blog post. It would be great if this could somehow be fixed, because I just can't have these errors in my blog posts, and never had them when I was merely uploading a mildly-edited form of the video transcript in it's entirety.

It does save me a bit of time because I can set it to embed the video to be embedded into the blog post in the initial setup, which is nice.

I also had issues with the feature "import automatically to your blog using the API" and the response from Support was basically, "Oh, yeah, it looks like from the logs that you've had a problem. Good luck with that, it may be one of your plugins." This after I described in detail which security plugin I disabled to allow the API password feature, and all the other trouble-shooting I had done. Please, at least act like you care about helping me to solve my problem.

In short, a good tool in concept, and I may end up keeping it, but I feel like it's got a ways to go as far as fulfilling their promised core features in a way that actually works for the customer or client.

Thanks for the review. Apologies for the humanizer errors. We use a third party provider to detect AI content and humanize it (Undectable). I will bring up those issues to them, but if you have any recommendation of another provider we can use, I'm all ears. I would like to mention that you don't have to use the humanizer if it's giving undesirable results and we also save a revision before...
