Unfortunately could not get it to work as expected
Wanted to love this product but we could not get it to work as we need it to i.e., like it is supposed to.
Setup is fairly simple but when a video is recorded you are supposed to be able to 'review' it and decide on whether to Cancel, Redo or Submit your recording.
Well, those 3 buttons sit right on top of the PLAY button so unless you can find a way round it our average user has no way of reviewing what they just recorded which defeats the strong point of this tool.
There are ways to get around this but our demographic is NOT tech savvy and asking them to 'click the white area outside of the video' or other methods that may eventually allow them to review their recording is a barrier we cannot afford to accommodate.
So we unfortunately have had to refund our purchase.
Maybe if the product creator solves this problem and it's clear it has been resolved (we notified them of this issue), then maybe we'll reconsider.
We purchased the top tier by the way - that's how much we were looking forward to using this.
I grabbed this to test and if it is a winner, use for 3 of my businesses, along with customers. I love this app so far. Easy to use, easy to get videos. My only disappointment, hence the 4 tacos, is that is does not work on all browsers and has a few minor bugs. Once that is worked out, it is 5 tacos!!

This is probably the 15th time I've purchased an AppSumo deal, and this one is perhaps THE most transformation to my business. I just bought it because ... $69 ... no brainer to give it a shot. I needed a better way to collect video testimonials.
I didn't even read all the features. I got my first testimonial today from a very basic campaign that took 5 minutes to setup. The video quality is great, the automated transcription was nearly perfect and SUPER easy to edit on the fly, while listening, and I LOVE that I was able to add team members to my account so that my video editor can easily come in and grab these to make compilation videos, etc.
This is seriously kick ass. Thank you guys!
(Oh, I noticed a small bug that I could not delete videos from my library. I messaged support and they're already working on a quick bug fix. Good support)

VIDEOPEEL is really amazing, excellent! I have an online music school and I want to see my students practicing guitar. I used a different system for recording for several months. Although it video records well, I still can't control this aplication (I can't use their plugin at all and that's why I have to place code on my pages ... from the support they only referred me to pages that I found without support ... I'm stressed about it). But VIDEOPEEL is great coffee! It uploads with very high quality, works on computers and mobile phones, easy to create access pages ... It works very intuitively - I have it a few days, I created 2 campaigns and I didn't have to contact support at all. I am excited and satisfied. Thank You.
