Q: Hi, I am very concerned with the change in Tier 3.
And now much more for what may come in the future when VidJet is no longer on Appsumo.... That you are changing plans previously purchased by users without notice is a bad company policy.
I purchased a plan with unlimited views. It is now limited to 200,000 views per month...which is clearly not enough for an agency.
No one from VidJet has asked me or advised me of the change. In my VidJet user panel it now says 200,000 views/month. I am not interested in the change and I am concerned that my plan will be changed without notice, without giving me the option to accept or not.
Without unlimited views/month I will have no choice, I will cancel my order.
No, I am not interested in change 300mb to 1gb videos if I am losing the unlimited views month.

May 14, 2024A: Hi GCG, happy to further answer your concern here!
If you bought your plan before Monday 11th of July, I confirm your account has unlimited videos played. The reason you see "200.000 plays" in your back-office is a frontend glitch that will be solved ASAP. Sorry about that.
Again, your legacy plan will be kept 100%, and our team will be happy to help.
Hope it answers your concern!
Hi Baptiste,
Yes, I bought the tier 3 on July 7. But in my VidJet user panel, this date is not reflected anywhere, neither in the account details or in billing section. And likewise, it still shows the new tier 3 where it indicates that my plan is limited to 200,000 plays/month. How will the system or the support team know if I purchased LTD prior to July 11?
Regarding the 200,000 plays/month is enough for agencies. In the product description itself, here on Appsumo, you show a screenshot of an account with 6,000 plays in 10 days, this would be 18,000 videos played per month by an account. Even so I think it is few plays/month, 9801 impressions is a web with very little traffic. In any case, this would mean that with the new Tier 3 an agency could not have more than 6 or 7 clients. I don't think that's enough. I think that you are focused on small business with low and only organic traffic. What about if I plan to use VidJet with SEM campaigns? I could generate really bigger traffic.
I would like to use VidJet with my clients, but I see that you are not clear about the focus of your service. Could future strategic changes from VidJet limit the plan I have purchased on Appsumo? How can I be sure that the same thing will not happen after 2 or 5 years? I need to feel secure in order to decide whether to invest in VidJet or not.
About watermarking. As of July 7 it was included in all plans. You only had to request to deactivate it by email. I did and you deactivated it. This message is still visible, are you going to activate the water-mark again to me? not now, but maybe in 1 year?
Baptiste, honestly, I think you have a very interesting product concept, but at the moment, with this unexpected turn of events, you have created a lot of confusion. Many users who were going to buy VidJet have declined, and many of us who bought it do not know if we have made a good investment.
At this point VidJet business needs to build a lot of credibility.
Good luck.
Hi GCG,
I am sorry that you feel this way. However, allow me to clarify that the watermark was included in all tiers before we launched the updated Tier 3. We have updated the last tier to include a bigger upload limit and the option to remove the watermark based on the feedback we have received since we launched the campaign.
If this still brings the sumo-lings’ dissatisfaction and they have already purchased a plan, I would like to take this opportunity to remind of AppSumo's 60-day refund policy. However, if you purchased it before 11th of July, you still have the unlimited plays.
Cheers!
Thanks Vlada for the suggestion.
Refund done.
Good luck.
Hi GCG, thanks for the great feedback here.
You're right on these points. These are problems we’ve never faced with our current agencies under a recurring monthly charge, based on consumption. Yet, it is different with LTDs, and we didn’t anticipate that.
We'll fix that soon. Thanks again for the insightful comment. It helps us a lot to improve.
Cheers!
