Vidlogs deserves plenty of love and support
Stellar support and listing to feedback which gets implemented is a very good sign.
Initially I held back from grabbing a code because of some of the questions regarding resolution
and one of the mediocre reviews.
One thing that stood out in that review was the comment that the UX/UI was modern and good which
is why I decided to try it out.
There are some issues but support is really on top of the things I've identified and they've already
fixed some of the things mentioned in questions and reviews.
Vidlogs will continue to improve and although it is good right now it is going to be great so they deserve to be supported right now.
The resolution has been fine for the tests I've done and the recordings are rendered quickly.
Transcriptions are actually being done in real time whilst broadcasting so if you have hearing impaired viewers they can still participate because they can read the transcript while you are talking or doing a demo etc.
Every media conference happening right now tends to have someone providing sign language for deaf. Imagine if you could have your own Interpreter right there in real time. That is what the transcriptions do. - Very valuable from that part alone. They may not be perfect but way better than none at all.
The strongest part of Vidlogs is the support and responsiveness to working to make it a great platform.
One concern for me was if you had people missing a live meeting who were participants but NOT team members. A team member can obviously log in and see the recordings and respond, add their own recording etc but if a NON team member/invitee showed up after the live meeting was over then they saw a "meeting is over" message.
My workaround for this was to use JOTurl to make a link to the live meeting and then immediately after
I closed the meeting I pasted the link to the recording as the redirection in Joturl so anyone clicking the link after the live is over goes straight to the recording.
Vidlogs are working on a live webinar solution but I could pretty much use it as is with smaller training groups or ever some of my larger memberships as many will not show up live and when they do show up later I've already done the redirection to the recording.
Vidlogs will probably already have this on their radar to make automated as they are responsive and positively listening to feedback.
Despite some minor bugs which are getting fixed quickly there is not a lot not to like with Vidlogs. It feels nice to use and the support and team working on improvements are knowledgeable and responsive.
I'm happy to rate Vidlogs highly because of the positive support received.
They understand what you are requesting and they give you thoughtful responses not just flick
you off to a knowledgebase.
Vidlogs is a great investment that I'm looking forward to using on an ongoing basis.
It is already good and will most likely become great soon.
Buy some codes now to help them on their journey.

Appreciate your vote of confidence - fixing public sharing of meeting so you will not have to use JOTUrl anymore.
Hope to stay in touch with you for more feedback and feature requests!
