A great tool to have for storing video files .....
We instantly bought this tool when we saw it on AppSumo. We wanted our content privately hosted and share it inside our exclusive community. It does all that!
Embed your videos anywhere using iframe, Add call to actions, pop-ups and more in videos...
A lot to dive into.
BUT....
Videos are pretty slow to play....which damages view time. People just stop watching the videos. Youtube is still the number one for speed. We really thought we had a winner with this one.
We havent seen any upgrades since we bought our license.

essential features missing
for a video hosting platform you would assume there would be support to upload multiple videos but you would be wrong. one video at a time.
you would also expect any mp4 video to be supported and to work correctly but yet again you would be wrong. you would need to transcode videos.
we dont see a way to integrate with the platform via API either.

I’m lucky
I'm happy that I jumped on this before the offer expired. Two days prior, I was playing with the tool, and I must say I’m quite impressed. Previously, I used Burst, a free tool offered here on Appsumo, but VidPowr will now be a perfect substitute due to the limitations of the free subscription on Burst. I also love the fact that the videos are optimized for mobile devices. Thank you.

Worst product I have bought here.......
This product is advertised for interactive videos. To be used for adding lead collection, CTA etc to videos. But you will see one of the ugliest forms ever in Vidpowr. The forms are the ugliest things you might have ever encountered on the web. They look like the old HTML forms when HTML was first developed.
I have complained about this long before but they never did anything to improve it. That says a lot about their commitment to this product. If you look at the sales page here, you will notice they will never show their forms. There is no active development either. They might have just added something new lately to say here that they are developing this product.
Normally, I don't put negative reviews unless the product is utter crap.
Thanks.

Sep 9, 2025Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’d like to clarify an important point about VidPowr’s interactive widgets, such as forms and CTAs.
Over 90% of online video consumption happens on mobile devices, so our widgets are optimized primarily for mobile views. This means the design you see when previewing on desktop can look different from the actual mobile output, which is where...

Interactive videos NOT compatible with iOS devices... 📱🚫
As a frequent user of video embedding tools, I had high hopes for VidPowr's customization and ease of use. However, I was severely disappointed to find out that the platform does not support the 'playsinline' attribute for embedded interactive videos. Without this feature, the Safari browser on iOS devices will not support VidPowr's native interactive player. Instead, when the VidPowr video plays, it is immediately covered over by the device's default fullscreen player which then hides all the interactive elements (CTAs, forms, quizzes, etc.). The only clunky workaround that their support team suggested is to wait for any pauses in the VidPowr video from the added interactions that would also trigger a pause in the full-screen video playing over it. When it gets to that part, users would somehow need to know to close the device's full-screen video player to see the paused VidPowr video underneath it and then take action based on the interactivity shown. This is NOT realistic or intuitive for any user to be able to do.
Their support team incorrectly states that the iOS Safari browser does not support interactions on videos, which is NOT true. I am currently using other video platforms (like Wistia, Gumlet, and H5P) that also include interactive features and they all play properly without relying on the iOS device's native player. For businesses like mine that rely on embedded videos and seamlessly integrate with their web designs, this limitation is a dealbreaker! The 'playsinline' attribute is critical to ensure a smooth user experience on iOS devices, as the lack of support for this functionality disrupts the flow of content and diminishes usability. If other more modern video platforms can manage to implement inline playback for their interactive videos on iOS devices with no issue, why can't VidPowr do the same?
Until this feature is supported, iOS users will not be able to interact properly with the VidPowr video player. This forces us to now look elsewhere for truly mobile-friendly solutions. VidPowr, please address this glaring issue!! There is no good excuse for this!
