essential features missing
for a video hosting platform you would assume there would be support to upload multiple videos but you would be wrong. one video at a time.
you would also expect any mp4 video to be supported and to work correctly but yet again you would be wrong. you would need to transcode videos.
we dont see a way to integrate with the platform via API either.

Nov 4, 2025I remember personally assisting you with this issue not long ago. As we discussed, the video in question was indeed in an MP4 container but encoded in a non–web-friendly format (HEVC/ProRes). VidPowr — like all major browsers and platforms — supports MP4 files encoded in H.264 video + AAC audio, with the “Web Optimized / Fast Start” option enabled.
Once you re-exported and re-uploaded in that format, everything worked smoothly — just like the 200+ other videos you currently have hosted and playing fine on your account.
We completely understand the frustration that comes with file compatibility issues, but rest assured that VidPowr fully supports modern MP4 uploads and continues to evolve. Multi-upload support and API integration are already on our public roadmap
and will be released soon.
