the best way to think of websites is as the equivalent of properties on Google Analytics.

This means, that for each website you get one script and each website has it's own dashboard where all the stats from that script aggregate.

What this means is that you can have a single script running on different domains and subdomains and to us it counts as 1 website. All the stats for this script will be aggregated in the same dashboard.

Ultimately, it is how you want to separate your data.
