All my videos are hosted on Vimeo, but I still bought this deal because it's WAY more helpful to see analytics for all videos on a single page vs. having to go into each video to pull data. It's worth $49 to see videos at a glance, in context, so I quickly know which ones are performing best. #timeismoney

However, when I loaded the Vidpulse code, not only did my data NOT show up on my page, all my videos stopped playing on my site too!

After freaking out on Vimeo, it turned out that the Vidpulse code didn't play nicely with Vimeo's privacy settings. I am a stickler for protecting my intellectual property, so I wasn't about to unhide my videos on Vimeo.com or allow them to be embedded anywhere. As much as I wanted to use Vidpulse, I feared a refund loomed in my future.

Alex at Vidpulse came to the rescue! They worked over the U.S. Labor Day holiday weekend to push out an update so that the Vidpulse code stopped blocking playback of private videos. That update also allowed Vidpulse to be added to the embed list so it could run analytics on private videos from Vimeo.

Alex told me today that they're now working on a fix so that titles and thumbnails for private videos can be pulled in to Vidpulse (key to the 'at-a-glance dashboard' properly displaying information). Due to their responsiveness and obvious caring for their customers, I will NOT be refunding.

Even if you have access to analytics elsewhere, it's a great piece of software that saves a ton of time. If you're serious about doing video in your business (now or in the future), Vidpulse is a can't-miss deal. 5+ tacos!
