Q: Friendly app, but creating chapters manually does not seem much productive.
Also, there are no options to customize anything inside the video or to transcribe automatically. There is a similar deal, Vidtags in Appsumo, which does almost everything vidstep can do and much more automatically or manually with the help of AI. Can you compare Vidsteps with Vidtags and give reasons for how your product standout.

Thanks for the compliment.
Vidstep is not a chapter overlay for existing videos. Vidstep enables step by step content for the specific purpose of 'instructions and demos' (tasks, process, product use, assembly etc).
The content creator needs the ability to determine at exactly which point in the video a step must activate. They also need the ability to add the precise title of the step and the expanded step instruction text, plus supporting resources and products used. Your Vidsteps can also be customise with your branding and theme.
We have seen Vidtag and they are doing some amazing work with taking a video and creating an auto chapter and ai audio overlay approach. Great work. That's not really our area and doesn't work for our use cases and clients.
Vidstep is human centric content, your content and assembled by a real author so it is received authentically. People need to connect with the content, trust it and follow it... this is very important.
The viewer functionality is also purpose built to receive the content as a comprehensive instruction, with many key attributes such as attached resources/docs, products used, checklist functionality, steps and step describers and the play/pause/repeat delivery options for the steps themselves.
There are a number of great chapter based video apps around for general communications or marketing purposes and this is helping the general trend. We are staying in our niche and focusing on our super power of instructional content.
