I have used it for over a year now, and it has been fairly reliable.

I've only had a couple of issues come up in that time where I needed to contact support. One of which was when my videos wouldn't buffer for only 20 minutes, which is frustrating because many of my videos I host are up to an hour and a half and this left my students in my online courses frustrated.
Unfortunately, I didn't get very helpful or applicable responses when I contacted them through email, but once I posted on Appsumo they quickly resolve the issue of buffering on their end for my account, since I was a heavy user. The email support wasn't anything to write home about, but they got the job done I appreciate that. Very occasionally there is some downtime, but the uptime is overall their 99%+ so it's rather rare as an issue. And I have gotten messages before from online students who don't understand those concepts of downtime for streaming, since they're so used to YouTube or Netflix which have zero downtime or errors which are not reasonable expectations for a startup LTD. I am a heavy user with 2000+ videos hosted on VidTags, so I can say that overall it is a very usable & implementable software & I am happy with the purchase.

Is it perfect?
No.
Is it the best possible deal online for video hosting?
Yes!

My only concern is whether a CDN video hosting network is a sustainable business model considering it's an expensive form of bandwidth–– I hope to use this software 5 to 10 years from now, but there are some inherent risks with LTDs. The founder seems to put in a lot of love for this product, so I have my fingers crossed that me making such a huge investment of time (far more than money, having uploaded 2000+ videos) into the Vidtags Ecosystem will continue paying off now & in the future.
