As a new customer to AppSumo, VidTags was my first purchase and this is my first review too.

I don’t normally review things but felt compelled to do so in this instance as I really am most impressed with VidTags and thought I’d share some of my thoughts…

Firstly, it’s incredibly easy to use. I aim to use it primarily for video hosting for the few videos I want to share on my blog. Within a few minutes, I’d uploaded a test video, configured the player and embedded the video in a blog post and it worked… flawlessly… first time!

To be honest, I was quite surprised… No messing about with code or CSS or anything like that. By embedding like this, you also have the ability to check out video analytics on your VidTags dashboard which is just amazing!

Secondly, the website is fast and responsive with a pleasing layout. Everything’s there to enable you to manage your video uploads. It’s well thought-out and is pleasing to the eye.

I haven’t even tried out the ‘main feature’ of video transcribing which I am sure will come in very handy at some point. In fact, I was so impressed with the VidTag setup that I stacked another code to boost my storage.

To sum up, I’d highly recommend VidTags. I’ve tried another video hosting deal I purchased through FaceBook which wasn’t bad but it left me feeling a somewhat underwhelmed. VidTags on the other hand, was the total opposite and I’d stack another code if I could afford another one!

So if you’re wondering to go for it or not, I’d say ‘give it a shot’ and I’m pretty sure you won’t be disappointed.
