Do you think they'll add a direct upload feature to YouTube down the line?

May 15, 2025A: Hi! Are you referring to uploading videos directly to YouTube from inside Vidtechy?
Technically, it’s possible for our team to implement this. However, we’re currently not planning it due to a key limitation with the YouTube Data API. Specifically, each video upload through the videos.insert method consumes 1,600 quota units, regardless of video size or length. Since the daily API quota is limited (10,000 units by default), it would be difficult to support consistent uploads at scale without hitting that limit.
We’re keeping an eye on it, and if YouTube updates their API policies or we find a scalable way to manage quota, we’ll definitely reconsider adding this feature.

I'm referring to utilizing the titles and descriptions we find on the platform and directly uploading them to YouTube, instead of going through the tedious process of copying and pasting. This approach would save us a significant amount of time.

We totally understand your concern, manually copying and pasting titles and descriptions can be time-consuming. However, updating the title or description via the YouTube API still requires 100 units per request, as per YouTube’s quota system. That said, I’ll check with our tech team to see if there’s any possible workaround or alternative we can explore to streamline this process further
