Vidthere She Goes...Vidthere She Goes Again...

Upon further reflection, I decided that my "review" in the Questions was generous and gave Vidthere the benefit of the doubt, but as I learned more about the team and company behind the product, it really made things a lot worse.

Knowlocker, SaaS United, Saasuma, SearchMyDocs, and Meetvio, and maybe others that I'm missing too, but these are either defunct products or JVZoo get rich fast schemes by offering larger than life offers without the commitment to the product for long-term development and growth. The ones behind this product have been at this for numerous years now and have dropped project after project leaving LTD buyers in the dust. And here we are at Vidthere.

This was a product that was on JVZoo in one form or another, then StackSocial, now AppSumo? Really? AppSumo has stooped as low as the scraps of these other platforms and then provided an offer nearly 2x the price? Hath AppSumo no dignity left...? I'm not willing to get in bed with a product that is over promising, under delivering only for them to call it quits in a couple of years and move on to the next scheme. But hey, as long as they offer White Label and CNAME, I'm sure people will buy it...

Vidthere is a product I expect from a decade ago. The UI is uninspired and largely a carbon copy of their other platforms, just reskinned and rehashed for whatever is currently trending in the LTD space. The UX is just silly...if I create a meeting, I get the same features as if I created a Webinar. Pure laziness.
The video quality is a far cry from 2020 standards. Poor FPS. Poor bitrate. The controls, or lack thereof once you're inside a meeting or webinar is sad and truly shows just how far behind this product is when compared to alternatives on the market. The development over the past several months has been largely absent and hasn't added anything of substance or impact to the platform. Once again, don't let them fool you with the hot button "benefits" like sub-accounts, ooooh ahhhhh shiny - yet offers nothing in actual performance or features as a host or end user.

Vidthere is an overpriced product that will go poof in a couple of years and leave you out to dry. Don't waste your money "investing" in a product or company that treats its users that way. It's not the type of company we expect to see on AppSumo, I'm not sure where the quality control, integrity, or dignity of AppSumo went; it's becoming more and more apparent that Sumolings have fallen way down the pecking order.

Poor features. Poor Design. Poor LTV. Overpriced. Don't be fooled. Skip this and wait for the next half-decent Webinar platform that you have to actually splash cash for it to be GREAT. Not good. Not decent. Not mediocre. Not poor. GREAT! It will come, most likely to somewhere other than AppSumo, but it will come. Just hold out and use literally any other product on the market. Webinar platforms (outside of HeySummit) on AppSumo crash and burn.
