I wanted this to work so bad
I have my own IT business and I want to move away from Teamviewer and thought this solution would be great. I installed it on my machine perfectly, and there are no issues. Went to do testing as if I was a client and ran into nothing but headaches.
Firstly - they have to sign up and go through this whole process. It says 2 mins but it was more than that.
Secondly - it wanted a confirmation code but all I got was a confirmation email that I clicked confirm. No code at all nor did it move to the next screen automatically like some software does. Eventually I looked in the link and say where it said code= and was able to move on to the next step.
Thirdly: Next step involved again, wanting to confirm in an email AGAIN. No additional email came. I tried reconfirming via the emails I had gotten, but there was nothing.
The whole point of this was to be able to provide my clients with a tool/means of which I could support them easily, but this just isn't it. I tried support but only got an AI bot. I've refunded now, unfortunately.

Firstly - If you want to set up new clients or team members, go to the user management of your own workspace. If you just invite them via referral section or sidebar, they start as a free Join plan user, independent from your workspace. In this case they will have to onboard themselves like you did as well. But if you generate a Quick-Onboarding link (via user management), you can set everything up on their behalf, send them a link (even automatically via email) that contains a code to download and install viewflip in less than 2 minutes.
Secondly - Once you clicked on confirm, our website opens, instantly confirming your email address. The code, which is contained in the link as you mentioned, will be displayed to copy with just one click, if you click on the „download here“ button, the only call-to-action after it says „registration confirmed“. Additionally you get an email the same second, which contains the code and the button to download as well.
Thirdly - You are wondering why you have received a further email to confirm your registration. That‘s because our AI assistant send you the email again, after you provided your email address in the live chat where you were asking for a code. So our AI assistant sent you the email again. Instead of proclaiming that no human was available at 02:30 AM german time between saturday and sunday in the night, you could instead have been grateful, that our AI was able to do exactly what any human would have had to do as well, but even faster.
Besides the fact, our AI assistant was able to provide you with the required information, you have contacted our support team via email, but never responded to our instant reply, where we were trying to explain, after what you were describing, that you obviously did not go through the registration process at AppSumo, but took out the regular viewflip Connect Subscription Plan as a trial subscription. So we asked you for the purchased AppSumo license key from your invoice to apply the lifetime conditions to your trial workspace. You never responded, but instead took your time to leave this review.
