A: I am not familiar with Onestream but if their software can be used to stream to a custom RTMP location than we are indeed compatible!

Tawni, I tested OneStream a bit more. Here is what I found: a video stream at v720p/30fps/a96 was buffering every 5 seconds.

The quality of the stream during those 5 seconds intervals was excellent. The buffering was not.
I wrote to their tech team and awaiting reply to see what happened.

To rule our OneStream, II tested the same stream from OneStream with different solutions capable to pull RTMP and it worked flawlessly.

The buffering on ViewStub took place both when OneStream was pushing two streams at once on two different platforms, AND when OneStream was pushing one single stream - only to ViewStub.

I did not test to see what happens at 1080. My test was done on 3 browsers: Chrome, Safari, and Firefox - all with identical buffering behavior. My network speed is not the issue.

RTMP often gives developers a headache until they figure it out.

I suspect the server location.

Patrick, maybe you have an idea of what might have happened and how long it will take to improve.

Tawni, in my initial response to you when I said that it works, I actually did not wait to see the stream.. I scheduled in VS, scheduled it on OneStream, waited to see it kick off on ViewStub (which it did with about 18-20 seconds delay) then I moved on assuming it was fine.
Hope this helps.
