This app has been a game-changer for me. It gives me the ability to create my own live streams, broadcast channels, and on-demand content all in one place. These features allow my audience to enjoy a seamless viewing experience through a single hub where they can easily access all of my content.

Viloud has completely transformed the way we manage and deliver custom online TV channels. The platform is incredibly intuitive, reliable, and flexible, making it easy to create professional-looking FAST channels and live streaming experiences without needing a massive technical team. The cloud playout system is stable, scheduling is straightforward, and the overall workflow feels modern and efficient.

What really stands out is how quickly you can launch and scale channels while maintaining high broadcast quality. The interface is clean, metadata management is simple, and integrations work smoothly across multiple distribution platforms. For broadcasters, content creators, and media companies looking to build 24/7 channels, Viloud offers an excellent balance between simplicity and powerful functionality.

Customer support has also been responsive and knowledgeable whenever assistance was needed, which makes a huge difference in live streaming operations where reliability matters.

The only major area that still needs improvement is SCTE-35 ad marker support and handling. More robust and consistent SCTE-35 implementation would make ad insertion workflows, one other thing it could improve on is to schedule more than a week.

Overall, Viloud is an outstanding platform for custom online TV channels, and with stronger SCTE-35 ad marker capabilities and schedule more than a week, it could become truly industry-leading. But completely recommend this to anyone who want to launch a channel.

After spending time exploring Viloud, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how capable the platform is.

What stood out for me is that Viloud is not just a video hosting or player platform, it works more like an online TV system. You can create channels, schedule videos to play automatically, and when you start a live stream, the channel can temporarily switch from the scheduled videos to the live event. Once the live event ends, the channel continues with its normal scheduled content. This creates a smooth viewing experience without manual switching.

I also appreciated the flexibility around using external video sources and different distribution options. It opens interesting possibilities for combining prerecorded content with live events while keeping everything under one branded experience.

Recommendation:
One feature I would love to see is the ability to invite clients directly into their own channels with limited permissions, without giving them access to the main account. This would make Viloud even stronger for agencies, broadcasters, and businesses managing multiple client channels.

Overall, I think Viloud is a strong option for creators, educators, broadcasters, agencies, and businesses that want to build their own branded streaming experience rather than relying entirely on social platforms.

This is product is actually impressive in terms of just having the freedom to be creative and create something that you can call your own. Having the ability to team this up with something like wordpress and a paywall / membership site creates endless possibilites imo. Even while only having a tier 3, it allows to at minimum, create the foundation for a larger vision and create a workable protoype for something you can possibly build out on a larer scale.

The product is good, nothing extraordinary tbf.
I got Tier 3 to have full features with plans to get up to 10 and setup a kids channel.
But come on, what is a kids channel if only 20 children watch it daily? Not to mention other ideas like fashion channel or historical channel etc.

I really like the tool but the amount of watching minutes are ridiculous. Even in Tier 10. Especially in Tier 10 where you start a FAST Channel.
Then you are supposed to pay extra the subscription, which pretty pricy.
At least it shouldn't be counting when you use external, like Bunny or even Publitio.
It's only for experimental use imo. But yeah, it doesn't really worth the effort (no need for plans and dreams to setup a channel of yours through viloud) unfortunately

PS: I really hate the fact that YouTube videos are simply embedded (thus the user can click and leave your web channel)
