From zero (no knowledge of OBS or online broadcasting, limited knowledge of frame embedding) to a live stream up and running in two hours: Viloud makes it quite easy, even for a beginner. The interface is clear and provides a good introduction to the various options (linear, VOD, etc.). So far, everything has worked without a hitch. After this initial experience, I have even more confidence in the many positive reviews I’ve seen so far.
Viloud has also already given me ideas about what might be possible with my channel in the future—and, like one of the previous reviewers, I decided to secure the “headroom” and went up to Tier 10.

I’ve tried a lot of tools for delivering video to communities, and Viloud stands out mainly for one reason: the ease of use. You set it up, add your content and it runs out of the box. No technical work, no duct taping tools together, no wasted time.

The bigger shift comes from the TV-like format. Instead of dumping videos into a library, I can now create a "live" stream people can tune into. That changes how they engage. Now, people "show up" for my content. It feels shared and "alive".

In my coaching community that matters a lot. People don’t get lost in endless content. They stay connected to what’s happening now. And its me who's setting the pace. Viloud sits somewhere between a course and a live session. I can keep the structure of recorded content and people experience it together.

We've been using this app for many years. It's very easy to use and very short learning curve. We have several channels that we run it it's nice to be able to manage them all in one place. We're glad to have this app, however, the scheduler could use some improvements to help with better scheduling management. Also, we were disappointed that although we added more than 24 hours of content, the app would only play 24 hours of content, and then restart from the beginning. We would have liked a way for use to create longer looped content that doesn't allow for us to have to manage and set for every day. It was easy to create this linear channel, but it didn't stop us for uploading 30 hours of content before we realized that the remaining 6 hours would not be run. And the process to remove them was a bit slow. Overall, we love this app and highly recommend it if you want to have your own channel.

Wow. My own TV channel in minutes. I have to admit that I first was unsure about the process and wanted video tutorials. Why? The DNS set up. I used chat-gpt for instructions and had my own channel in 5 minutes lol. Still working on how to do a live feed with rtmp. Still not clear on what they have to do on their end for live feed but all in all it’s a great product. UPDATE: OK, Ok, user error. I had the incorrect stream key, now everything works fine. Awesome Product 10 tacos lol
