I first saw SmartCue several months ago when it was featured on another website (and didn't yet offer a lifetime deal). I was really interested.

Then, while browsing through the marketplace, much to my surprise, I found it here for a special early-adopter deal, and immediately bought (even when the limits were less than they are now).

One thing I love about this tool is how flexible it is. Originally marketed for saas developers to provide sales-focused demos of their tools, I saw an immediate use case for creating onboarding demos for tools that were already established. Some of my specific use cases were:

1. Create an introductory demo for clients to familiarize themselves with their own custom-made reporting dashboards (such as Google Looker Studio).
2. Create onboarding documentation for backend Wordpress management for people and clients that want to manage their own sites.
3. Create introductory demo for workshop participants and the online collaboration tools we will use for the session(s).

The point is: You don't have to be a saas developer to leverage this tool. It's so flexible that it can be used for any website or web-app.

Pros:
1. The founder. Robin is responsive, he listens, and he implements at break-neck speed. I was having an issue and he resolved it within 24 hours, keeping in touch along the way to make sure that I was able to access a feature I couldn't previously.
2. In addition to Robin's attentiveness, he's also a great marketer. I was surprised to see such high quality content on his YouTube channel. You can tell this isn't a hobby, but a business imperative for him.
3. The UI is clean, simple, and elegant. It is comparable in design to tools like Google's productivity suite (Word, Sheets, Slides, etc), so there's very little clutter, and very intuitive.
4. Feature-wise: The platform is not feature-rich, but it doesn't have to be. It's simplicity is its strongest suite. I love that I can change out the tourguide's photo, and add custom CTAs at the end of the demo.

Overall, definitely one of the best deals I've found in the marketplace. Looking forward to seeing them come up for an Exclusive / Select deal in the future. Definitely something I can see using as part of my normal business processes.
